Beauty

Women’s mission is to bring it down to earth

March 8th 2014
How much criticism has been heaped on women by those who moralize! Among the things they are reproached for, the one that features the most is their wish to be beautiful and the attention they pay to this. And yet it’s not a crime – on the contrary. If women did not seek beauty, we would have seen generations of very ugly people born into the world. It is the mother’s mission to pass beauty on to her children. Since she is the one who forms them during pregnancy, it would be of great benefit to her children if she were to focus on and be nourished by all that is beautiful in nature and in art, so that this beauty might be embodied in them! Those who moralize and condemn women’s wish to be beautiful see them only as seductresses. They do not understand that it is the woman’s, the mother’s, task to fashion the human race. Men do not think about beauty much; they have other preoccupations. So, if women didn’t think about it!... So, women are right to seek beauty, to pass it on to their children. Only, they have to understand where and how to look for true beauty, spiritual beauty, so that through their children they can one day bring the splendours of the divine world down to the earth.
