Heaven does not resist those who have understood the value of disinterested love. It rewards them day and night. And even if they are wronged, heaven contrives for them to experience even this wrong as a reward. You are shocked; you say you cannot conceive of such an idea… But why not? Because you haven’t yet experienced it.
Even if this truth seems incomprehensible to you today, take the trouble to meditate on it. God has built the universe in such a way that what we miss on one plane we are given back on another – and a thousand times over, if we know how to look for it. Those who know the secret of love and sacrifice give everything and receive everything.
