Matter, which heart and mind have the power to shape

If we explain to people what is right, they are perfectly capable of understanding. But it is not enough to give them explanations, even the most convincing ones, if you want to steer them in a better direction, for the powers of the mind are limited. We must touch their heart too, because if their feelings and desires push them in a different direction, we should be under no illusions that that is where they will go.
And even for those who love the light, who long for the light, the hardest part is yet to come. For they must make their psychic matter give in to the light. One moment it is docile and lets itself be shaped, then suddenly it resists, rebels and throws up obstacles, and they have to start all over again. But they shouldn’t become discouraged, because over time this stubborn psychic matter will give way. One day, when there is understanding and love, it is bound to happen. In any case, one thing is for sure – without the participation of the heart and mind, in other words without love and understanding, there is no point hoping for the slightest improvement.
