As you make your way through life, you become aware of the different tendencies living in you, some of which are better than others. But becoming aware of them is not enough; you must also accept the need to sort through all these tendencies and focus on the ones you consider to be the most noble and constructive. In this way you will gradually discover the presence of something luminous and powerful inside you that you did not know about before. This presence is the divine Principle that lives in you and is waiting for you to place yourself at its service. Placing yourself at the service of the divine Principle involves, each day, finding the moral and spiritual values that deserve to be given priority.
