‘i am the light of the world’
Commentary

‘I am the light of the world’, said Jesus. The light of the world is the sun. But the Christ is infinitely more than the sun. Beyond the visible light of the physical sun, there is another light, which is the true light of the sun, the spirit of the sun. This is the light Jesus was referring to and which he identified with. And just as the material light allows us to see the objects of the physical plane with our physical eyes, so the inner light, the Christ light, gives us access to a vision of the divine world.
We must try to get closer to this light, to learn what it is and how we should live with it and within it; try to work each day to capture tiny particles of it to condense within us… until the time when we are able to send them out as rays to the beings and objects of the invisible world, which will appear to us then in their sublime reality.
