An attitude that allows us to sense passing celestial currents

You pray, and you ask to be visited by light and by angels… But when they appear, more often than not you are busy looking elsewhere! And then, you complain that spiritual life brings you nothing. But what can it bring you, if you ask for heaven’s light and joys but are unable to sense when you receive a visit from them?
It is pointless to pray if you have not developed that subtle sense that tells you that you have been heard. So, instead of making all kinds of demands on heaven, make the effort to remain alert. Your spiritual centres and bodies will become active, and little by little you will be able to perceive the currents of light travelling through space and the benevolent entities that come to meet you.
