Summer
The flower gives birth to fruit
June 21st 2015
Summer is the season of maturity. It is a long time since the trees were in flower, and from the flowers the fruit has slowly been forming. This leads us to question the nature of the flower.
What is a flower? If you study it carefully, you will discover that it is the organ of the plant that is closest to the animal kingdom. It has sensitivity, with something akin to the nervous system: many flowers open in the light and close in the dark. But we can go further and say that in the flower the plant’s astral body is formed. The flower is actually the sex organ of the plant, where fertilization takes place. Each year, assisted by light and warmth, flowers give birth to fruit.
