Joy

When we give it to others, it returns to us magnified

November 22nd 2015
Would you like others to enjoy inviting you to their home and meeting you? Instead of sharing your bad moods, your worries and your sadness with others, think how you can bring them joy. Instinctively, people shy away from those who poison the atmosphere with their complaints and recriminations. But even worse for them is the fact that they poison their own life. Sadness is a black smoke, which invades the soul and ultimately casts its shadow across the whole face. Eventually, even the body’s functioning is disturbed, and the intelligence is clouded. You’ll say that a good mood or cheerfulness are often a question of temperament and that it is difficult to change one’s temperament. That is true, but through thought, love and willpower, you can do it. And above all, to make others happy, fill your heart with love. Call on love with all your might, and not only will you be happy, but the love you give will return to you magnified.
