Necessary precautions

In order to start the next day in a good mood, full of joy and hope, think the best thoughts you can before you go to bed, so that they can work in you during the night. Never fall asleep thinking negative thoughts, for thoughts continue to have an effect during sleep. And if you feel overcome with anxiety when you are about to fall asleep, get up, switch the light on, do some breathing exercises, say a prayer or else read an inspirational page or text, which will help to clear your head and calm you down. Then go back to bed. If, after a while, the uneasiness returns, get up and start again. There are times when the position of your body is extremely important, and you cannot combat anxiety effectively when you are lying stretched out. If you fear you will catch cold, put some clothes on, but don’t stay lying down. You are more passive when you are in a horizontal position. There are times when you need to be standing up in order to have control over the situation and not be overwhelmed by it.
