Religion

A science based on the knowledge of human beings

April 9th 2016
True religion is a science based on the knowledge that human beings are created in the image of God. This is why the foundation of religious sentiment is inscribed in human beings themselves. By creating us in his own image, as it is written in Genesis, God inscribed us with his seal. And no matter what we do, we cannot escape it, because it forms part of our basic structure, the essence of our being. In this sense, we will never be absolutely free; we cannot escape this imprint, this schema from which our entire being is constructed. On the other hand, complete freedom was given to us, enabling us to manifest the divine predestination we bear within. This is why there are so many religions which, depending on where and when they came into being, have taken on, and will continue to take on such a rich diversity of forms.
