Remorse

Don’t give in to it

June 5th 2016
You made a mistake and you feel remorse, or shame? This is normal, and it is a good thing because you cannot improve if you are not aware of the mistakes you have made. But remorse is only useful for one thing: if you decide not to make the same mistakes again. Beyond that, it is useless and even harmful. Those who keep going over their mistakes and allowing themselves to be crushed by remorse stir up the dregs of their subconscious and attract negative forces. They must not think that this attitude pleases the Lord or that he likes seeing them beat their chest. Your unfortunate experiences should only be used to find the path of wisdom. Do not brood on them, try to even forget them, and present yourselves before the Lord, saying, ‘My God, I have made mistakes, but since I am your child, I know that you have given me your light and your force. Help me to manifest them, so that I may glorify thee on earth as the angels glorify thee in heaven’.
