Cosmic harmony
An endless progression of forces, elements and beings
January 3rd 2017
Sunday (the Sun), Monday (the Moon), Tuesday (Mars), Wednesday (Mercury), Thursday (Jupiter), Friday (Venus), Saturday (Saturn): the succession of the seven days of the week corresponds symbolically to a musical arrangement of the planets. And since each day corresponds to a planet, like the planets, they file past the Creator, one after another, singing. They are linked together like beads on an endless rosary, forming a chain whose progression is inscribed in eternity.
If rosaries have such great importance in some religions, it is because they symbolise the unfolding of cosmic forces, the infinite succession of elements and beings. And we too must never forget that we form part of this chain: it is thanks to our conscious awareness of belonging to this infinite progression that we live in unison with cosmic harmony.
