Hope, faith and love

Form, content and meaning

January 13th 2017
Hope, faith and love are three virtues that correspond respectively to form, contents, and meaning. Hope is linked to the form, faith, to the contents, and love to the meaning. The form preserves the contents. The contents bring force, but force has no reason for being without meaning. When hope is strong, it works on the physical body and has a favorable influence on the stomach and the whole digestive system. If, on the contrary, it is weak or defective, the digestive system as well as the beauty of the body are affected. Faith, the contents, is linked to force and influences the lungs. We must cultivate faith if we want to receive energies, be fulfilled in our life and be inspired by celestial fragrances. Finally, if we want our life to take on a vast and deep meaning, love must flow like a spring within us. Without love, life loses its whole meaning, in spite of the knowledge and riches we may acquire. Love is linked to the brain, and whoever wants true intelligence, therefore, must learn to love.
