Condemning the guilty
Must never be forever
August 29th 2018
Mistrust imprisons people in their faults and limitations, whereas trust can set them free. When someone behaves badly, even if they have committed crimes, why treat them as though they were bound to keep repeating them forever? Their actions belong to the past, and the past should not be confused with eternity.
Someone has done wrong, it is true, but their misdeeds took place in a moment in history. Since then, they may have improved and changed their behaviour. We must not focus on past events, but must look to the present and especially the future. This is the way of sages and initiates, who have a much broader understanding of life. They know that evolution is the law of life, and this is why they never condemn people forever, because God continues working on them and within them.
