A soul to which parents offer hospitality

The notion of the incarnation of children into a family is much more complex and profound than is generally thought. From time to time, upon staring deeply into their children’s eyes, truly sensitive parents might feel as if they were offering their hospitality to unknown visitors for a while. This soul that has come to live with them was not of their creation, they are only giving it shelter on the physical plane.
Parents must be attentive and good to the soul they welcome and never forget that its true parents are its divine parents. Just like parents on Earth who place their child in boarding school, the divine parents know that they owe something to those who have taken care of this child; and if it has been well-cared for, educated and loved, they reward them generously.
