Seek it out before throwing yourself into endeavours

Whatever you undertake, first ask yourself, ‘I seek light, I seek love, I seek true power – will I find them by doing this or that?’ Thanks to Initiatic Science, you can get the correct answer right away. Otherwise, you will throw yourself body and soul into endeavours that will gradually weaken and destroy you.
Look at businessmen who are always agitated and race the world over to find yet another market, to open yet another branch. How many of them realize that all these responsibilities and activities through which they set out to satisfy their greed will destroy their nervous system, which soon will no longer be able to cope with these stresses? They lose sleep, they lose their peace of mind, and they lose their health. So, what benefits will they gain from all this? Before setting out to acquire something, or before taking on a certain role or position, it is important to know where this desire will eventually lead you.
