Knowledge

Manifesting it through one’s behaviour

July 24th 2021
Humans know everything but they do nothing. They know that with patience, there is a better chance of achieving lasting results, but they are not patient. They know that gentleness can work wonders, but they always get angry. They know, they know – but they remain weak, vulnerable, lacklustre, sickly and unhappy. In the Teaching of the Universal White Brotherhood, disciples learn that knowledge is of value only if it is applied in life. It is work that counts, the work of the will, manifesting your knowledge through your behaviour. In ordinary schools, only your academic knowledge is taken into account. That you may one day become a criminal is of no importance – you delivered a good speech, so here is your diploma! The Initiates, on the other hand, do not look at how you expound your knowledge, but how you apply it; if they find your application to be lacking, they will not grant you a diploma. In some cases, they may not even accept you into their school.
