Meditation

The mastication of an idea that provides a flow of energy

October 7th 2021
It takes three or four hours to completely digest a meal, but hunger is appeased much more quickly; within a quarter of an hour after a meal, you already feel restored and ready to go back to work. This shows that the most subtle part of our food is absorbed through the mouth while we chew. Only the coarser elements are assimilated by the stomach and intestines. In the spiritual life, meditation is like the mastication of an idea. When you meditate or ‘chew’ on an idea for a long time, your superconsciousness receives a powerful flow of strength and energy that enables you to continue your work in the Lord’s vineyard.
