Children
We must remain as children in relation to our divine parents
October 8th 2021
Jesus said, ‘Unless you become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.’ Do we really understand what it means to become like children, or why this is a condition for entering into the kingdom of God? Children are frail, vulnerable and trusting, and this arouses a protective instinct in adults. Jesus meant that we must be as children in relation to those who have surpassed us – the initiates and great masters – for they can take care of us, guide us, teach us and protect us.
It is a great mistake to think that because we are adults, we no longer need spiritual parents. This is precisely when the trouble really begins! The only way to enter the kingdom of God in joy, happiness and hope is to be as children in relation to those who are more advanced. Even if we are obliged to become adults here on earth, we must remain as children in relation to our divine parents.
