Inner world, our –organizing it so as to find fulfilment

Life is made up of exchanges between your inner and your outer worlds, but your inner world should always come first, for this is where you are continually immersed. You are not forever watching, listening, touching or tasting something outside yourself; but you are always with your inner self, your thoughts, your feelings and your conscious states.
As long as you give precedence to the outer world, you are heading for disappointment. Perhaps for a moment you might think you have a hold on something, but some time later you realize that there is nothing there, you have lost everything. Human beings are always looking for happiness, for a great romantic love, for fulfilment, but they must know that it is first within themselves, by organizing their inner world, that they will come to find them.
