Parsifal contemplated the holy grail

Parsifal setting out on his quest for the Holy Grail is the eternal symbol of the adept setting out on the path of initiation. Like Parsifal, who had to make his way through dark forests, battle fearsome enemies and giants and elude traps, a disciple must brave darkness, fight battles and overcome temptations. Once Parsifal had overcome all his trials, he was ushered into a marvellous castle with walls covered in gold and precious stones where he was welcomed solemnly, and it is there that he was given the opportunity to contemplate the Holy Grail.
The vision of the Holy Grail is the supreme reward for those who always uphold in their hearts and minds the ideal of obtaining the priceless gifts of the Spirit.
