Initiatic truths
They oblige us to be more responsible

Once you know the truths of initiatic science, you no longer feel free to be frivolous and irresponsible; you are obliged to watch your step, and this is a good thing. As long as you are ignorant, you have some excuse for making mistakes. Your ignorance will not prevent you from suffering the consequences of your mistakes, but you will not be held accountable to the same degree as if you had known what you were doing. If you know that what you do is wrong and persist in doing it, heaven will punish you much more severely.
Never say, ‘I wish I had not entered an initiatic school; heaven will be much more severe with me now!’ You must never regret it; it is better to know even if you have to pay a higher price for your mistakes. Knowledge is preferable to ignorance even if it entails suffering, for sooner or later your knowledge will bear fruit. Whereas without it, you will be forever in darkness. Light is always preferable.
