No one can educate anyone else

Education is something that interests everyone, even children; they want to educate their doll or their puppy. But the fact is that no one can educate anyone else. Lectures, explanations and commands are of no use. When an initiate comes into the world to help human beings, he does not attempt to change them, because he respects their destiny; but by means of his knowledge, virtues and conduct, he stimulates, vivifies and waters the good seeds – the gifts and virtues – that lie buried within them. Then all these seeds begin to germinate, grow and blossom.
Education is the most difficult science, for we must first possess the qualities we wish to develop in others. Only the initiates, who have already done an immense amount of work on themselves, are able to awaken the sublime qualities that the Creator has sown within all human beings.
