Love
Continue to love in spite of everything

Human beings are indeed wicked, dishonest and ungrateful, but never lose your faith and your love on the pretext that you have been let down, because that is when you will really become unhappy. So continue to believe and love in spite of everything. If you meditate on this matter, weighing the pros and cons on your spiritual scales, you will find that if you stop loving people, you let the source that flows within you dry up – therefore you are punishing yourself, not them.
Why stop the flow within you of what should be eternal and boundless, under the pretext that some minor misfortune befell you one day? So many saints, prophets and initiates have been persecuted and mistreated, but they still continued to love and believe. So, what disciple could think themselves worthy of receiving initiation if they go around shouting that they can no longer love anyone, no longer trust anyone because they have been misled or cheated a few times?
