Is never a waste of time

Try to bring your life into greater harmony with your spiritual ideal by devoting more time to prayer and meditation. But be patient: if after a week or ten days, you do not notice any great changes in yourself, do not complain that you have been wasting your time, for this would only prove that you know nothing of the laws of spiritual work. Simply have the humility to recognize that you had never really been doing this work: you have allowed your psychic matter to become so opaque that now it puts up a huge resistance, and it is going to take a long time to change it and sensitize it. If you had already been practising meditation, your matter would now be a great deal more supple, malleable and easy to educate. This preparation would have made it easier for the spirit to work within you.
The spirit is the greatest power there is, but you have to know under what conditions. So, now, don’t waste precious time doubting and prevaricating: begin the spiritual work today.
