It is as important as the sun, for it transforms its rays

Plants, animals and humans are imbued with solar energy, but they receive that energy only after it has been absorbed, transformed and redistributed by the Earth. From this point of view, the Earth is as important as the sun.
You must not think that when you expose your body to the sun you are receiving its rays directly. Before the sun’s rays reach you, they must first pass through the Earth’s atmosphere, and it is because the Earth’s atmosphere has transformed them that you are able to receive and absorb them. This is why it is important always to be in harmony with the Earth, to love and respect it. Otherwise, even if you expose yourself to the sun’s rays, you will not get much benefit from its light and heat.
