Evil
Utilizing the forces of evil to stimulate the forces of good

Human beings do not yet possess either the knowledge or the power to conquer evil. The best solution is to let good and evil continue to coexist and to utilize the activities and the extremely potent forces contained in evil; that is to say to take a few infinitely small doses of evil in order to stimulate the forces of good. This is exactly how a graft works.
What does a gardener do? He finds a wild pear tree that produces inedible fruit for instance, and grafts a branch from a good pear tree on to it; this graft then benefits from the vigour of the wild tree. In the same way, we can graft branches of the tree of good onto the tree of evil. Just as the forces of evil are always trying to capture and use the forces of good for their own ends, the forces of good have every right to draw on the forces of evil and use them for their work.
