Jesus and the master
Do not glorify them but rather work to imitate them
December 20th 2022
All Christians are proud of Jesus. ‘No one is greater than our Lord Jesus!’ they say. Yes, Jesus is Jesus, but what are they? Lazy, ignorant people who make no effort to try and be like him.
So many disciples behave in the same way towards their master. They say, ‘Our Master is unique!’ and they place photographs of him everywhere. They are even ready to fight someone who doubts that he is the best, the greatest, the most powerful of masters. But are they ready to imitate his attitude and his philosophy? No, a master is there to be glorified, not imitated. How much better it would be if you stopped putting your master on a pedestal and made up your minds to adopt some of his ideas and put them into practice!
