How to use the energy

When you feel anger rising in you, you should try to give it a positive outlet by immediately putting it to work: the rush of energy it produces can always be used for a physical or psychic activity. It is not difficult to find something to do at home or elsewhere, for there are so many small tasks you are in the habit of neglecting! You can make the most of the energy your anger produces by cleaning or tidying your house, weeding your garden, and so on, or by helping a relative, a friend or anyone else who needs it. It is not a question of denying the power of the anger inside us or of fighting it head on, as this is not possible. We have to make use of it so that it becomes a force that serves us, or else it will rule us. It is always up to us whether we are weak or strong.
