Prayer

It must be expressed in the three worlds

If prayer is to be truly effective, it must be expressed in the three worlds: physical, astral and mental.* If it remains exclusively in the world of thought, it will not produce results on the physical plane. Thoughts have to be expressed in words in order to affect the physical plane through the vibrations of sound. If you fail to give your prayer words (flesh), it will only have a soul, and that soul must then look for the physical and astral elements it needs in order to materialize. But if the thought in your mind is accompanied and nourished by a powerful sentiment and launched onto the physical plane by means of speech, it will have the best chance of being realized, for you will have given the spirits the physical elements that they themselves lack. In this way, you show them that you know the laws and you also make their work easier.*
