Heaven

Never abandon it

July 15th 2023

You must never abandon heaven for anyone – not even for a husband, wife or child – for it is only if you maintain contact with heaven that you can do them any good. If you turn your back on heaven in order to please others, you will lose everything, both heaven and earth. You will have neither the Lord nor those for whom you have made such great sacrifices; you will end up alone. If you seek heaven, on the other hand, you will also possess the earth, for the earth always follows, it submits itself to heaven and is at its service. Sooner or later, if you abandon heaven in order to cling to earth, the earth will slip from your grasp and you will be left with nothing.*
