Difficulties

Rough edges that allow us to climb

When you come up against difficulties in your life, you must neither rebel against them nor try to avoid them. Try to understand that if Cosmic Intelligence has put you in this situation it is in order to push you to go a step further, a step higher. Do not wish for everything to be smooth in life. Mountaineers would never get to the top of a mountain if the face were perfectly smooth. In order to pull themselves up, they need the rough edges that give them a foothold or a handhold, and something to which they can attach their rope. In this way, little by little, they climb up to the top. Well, we need the difficulties, sorrows and obstacles that life brings because they serve exactly the same purpose.*
