Whether material or spiritual, we must let others benefit from them if we want to keep them
April 24th 2012
On the face of it, we see nothing but injustice on the earth. Some have everything – health, beauty, wealth, talent, virtues – and others very little. But, in reality, nothing humans receive at birth was given arbitrarily. Everything they have today they worked for in their other incarnations, and cosmic justice has given them gifts that match the efforts they made – gifts of material, intellectual or spiritual wealth.
Everything we have is the result of the efforts of a lifetime, but it is not given us once and for all. To preserve it in incarnations to come, we each have to make sensible use of it and, above all, let others benefit from it. All the gifts we received at birth we must put to use, and the best way to do so is to use them not just for ourselves but to help others by furthering their evolution.
