Parents

They must be very careful about the instructions they give to children

October 7th 2025
Before undertaking a new venture, an adult has to think about it carefully, whereas a child is not expected to reflect because its brain is not yet able to reason and understand. That is why a child is asked to obey, to do things without argument; it will come to understand later on. So, a child’s approach is the exact opposite of an adult’s. Children would never do anything if they had to understand before acting. They must act before they understand, following the example of those who have already understood. This trust greatly facilitates their own process of comprehension.
Children are able to develop by doing what their parents and teachers tell them to, provided that parents and teachers are aware of their responsibility and are very careful about the instructions they give to children.*
