Everyone knows that a new idea always leads to complications. You may have a very good idea, but if it is new it will shake up old habits and upset not only your everyday life, but also your physical body. Your cells and all your organs will be in a state of revolt. And many people are so surprised by the inner upheaval caused by a new idea that, even if it is good, they give up on it. They say, ‘Everything was much better before. We had peace and quiet, and now look at the mess we’re in!’
Those who refuse to envisage new ideas for fear of the inner upheavals they involve will never make progress. Moreover, they do not realize that they will encounter far greater difficulties later on. Every so often, the invisible world decides to send new currents and influences to the earth in order to transform humanity; those who resist them will find themselves in less favourable circumstances. So think about this and tell yourself, ‘If heaven is offering us conditions that will make it easier to evolve, even if they cause some suffering, it will be well worth it.’ And then set to work.
