Suffering
It is imposed by divine justice
December 1st 2026
The difficulties and suffering we meet with in life are imposed on us by higher Beings who act with justice. If we rebel against this divine justice, we only make things worse, exactly as it happens with our penal system on earth. When an escaped prisoner is caught, he is taken back to his cell and his punishment is even more severe than before.
Human laws reflect the divine laws. If we rebel and refuse to accept the fate that has been allotted to us in accordance with the laws of divine justice, our suffering will only increase, because justice will send us back to prison (our difficulties) for even longer. There is only one way to hasten our liberation, and that is to be willing to mend our mistakes, to try to improve, and to put ourselves in the service of the Lord.
