Even if it is not to procreate, give it a divine orientation

Nowadays people speak of ‘sexual liberation’ as a sign of great progress. This liberation could have meant progress, but the reality is not a step forward: it is a downward spiral. The tendency of more and more people to sleep together, simply because they know no better way of passing the time and having pleasure, is very detrimental to their evolution. They have barely met, they do not know each other, they do not love each other, and yet, for want of something better to do, they ‘make love’—as though it were of no more importance than playing cards! And afterwards, just as when they have finished playing cards, they go their separate ways and begin again the next day with someone else. This is a very serious; not because they are flouting rules of behaviour invented by the moralizers, or because they are injuring moral law or those who preach it, but because they are injuring themselves.
There is nothing reprehensible in the act of sexual intercourse itself, even if it is not for the purpose of procreation, but it is essential to know about all the entities and forces involved, in order to give this act divine meaning and orientation.
