Everywhere birds come and go. Even in town, there they are, perched on trees, on balconies, on the roofs of houses. And you might be in your bedroom feeling worried or sad, and you beg the Lord to help you… You think you are alone, but there on the sill of your open window a little bird has heard your call, your cry of suffering, and carries your prayer to heaven…
But don’t expect that to happen by chance; get into the habit of entrusting your wishes to the birds. If you see a bird passing close by, formulate a request – let it be the most beautiful and the purest – and ask the bird to convey it. Even if you have nothing special to ask, when you see a bird you can always think of it as a messenger that will carry your good thoughts all over the world.
