Through his words, a spiritual Master strives to lead his disciples as far as he can; then he must be silent. It is impossible for him to reveal everything he experiences in his spirit and soul. Are there words to truly explain what ecstasy is, the moment when a human being is torn from his or her body and lifted to dizzying heights?
A Master can only assure his disciples that experiences that are unimaginable to them are in fact real. And because these experiences permeate his whole being, they also permeate everything he speaks of afterwards. Whatever the subject matter, what he passes on to them comes from a very high and distant place. Thus he communicates to them the wish to experience what he himself has experienced, and with his explanations and the methods he gives them he prepares the conditions and shows them the way.
