Higher self, the
Possesses the virtues of the sun

To give like the sun, to love like the sun… That is an ideal we must strive to achieve one day. Whenever we feel impatience, irritation or discouragement coming because of other people’s behaviour, there is a remedy: turn to the sun, shining continuously on high, tireless and unperturbed. You will say, ‘But it’s easy for the sun to remain unperturbed; it’s so far away, nothing reaches it.’ Yes, but we too have something in us that remains always out of reach: our higher self, for our higher self is in the sun. By contemplating the sun, we will one day succeed in rejoining our higher self and living as it does, in a state of peace that nothing can disturb.
Our higher self lives in the sun, where it takes part in divine work. When we know how to harmonize the vibrations of our earthly self with those of our higher self, we will discover that the Creator has placed boundless generosity and love within us.
