Water
For humans as for water, there are two possible methods of purification
If you observe how nature purifies water, you will see that there are two possible methods. In the first method, water goes underground and discards its impurities as it seeps through the different layers of soil. In this way, it gradually becomes clear before re-emerging from a spring. In the second method, water is heated by the sun’s rays; it becomes lighter and rises joyfully into the light of the earth’s atmosphere in the form of vapour, and this process of evaporation is sufficient to purify it. Later, it falls back down to the ground in the form of dew or rain, bringing life to the vegetation on earth. There are also two methods of purification for human beings. Those who refuse to be purified by the sun’s rays are obliged to go underground, symbolically, and are subject to darkness and great pressure. But disciples choose the second method: they expose themselves to the light of the spiritual sun and purify themselves by rising to a higher level so as to absorb all the most luminous elements.*
