They play a vital role for the future of humankind

Everything that human beings think, feel or want flows into the invisible world and sets in motion forces and powers, whether of good or evil. But as most people do not know this, there are billions of individuals on earth who unwittingly spend their days triggering destructive forces. If you try to enlighten them, they look at you with astonishment, wondering what on earth you are talking about, for as everyone knows, thoughts and feelings can be neither seen nor touched, so how can they possibly trigger events? The inner life,* the life of thought, is vital for the construction not only of our own future but also of that of all humankind. This is why the first thing that we learn in an initiatic school is how to monitor our thoughts, feelings and desires, and to see the direction they are taking, and where they will lead, in order to link up with the beneficial forces of nature and work towards our own development and that of the whole world.
