Divine philosophy

Study it and apply it

Suppose someone says, ‘I realize that the spiritual life and Initiatic Science are beautiful, noble and grand. The trouble is that I was not given that light, and now I am in such a fix that I cannot seem to sort myself out.’ Of course, that is quite understandable and excusable.
When you have never been instructed in this divine philosophy, it is entirely excusable to make mistakes. But once you know about this light, it is inexcusable to do nothing to improve your situation. How can you justify such an attitude before heaven? It is a serious matter. Once you have been introduced to the true philosophy that has guided all the noblest beings of humanity, you must do your utmost to study and apply it. The situation constantly improves for those who exert themselves.*
