Like a spring, the love that pours forth rejects impurities

The stream of water bubbling up from a spring carries away any twigs and leaves that threaten to block the flow. It is because it never stops flowing that a spring is always pure, always alive. Where can you find a better philosophy than that of a spring?
Model yourselves on a spring and become just like it, that is to say, love – never stop loving whatever happens. For this outpouring of love will protect you from impurity and suffering. You will not even notice when people try to soil or harm you, for everything bad will be carried away by the flow of water, of love. Day and night, hold within you this image of the spring that casts off evil and impurities. Never stop loving and you will suffer no more.*
