Those who live in truth stand out by reason of their kindness and altruism

Look carefully and you will see that those who live in truth stand out from the crowd by reason of all kinds of qualities, particularly their goodness, nobility and altruism. This is why, when I meet someone who claims to possess the truth but who is aggressive, vindictive and full of hatred, I feel like telling them, ‘Clear off, old chap, for if that is truth, it is not worth the effort to possess it.’ But human beings rarely apply these standards. They hear a rabble-rouser preaching hatred and violence in the name of truth, and they are ready not only to follow them, but to imitate them.
Never believe those who claim to possess truth unless they can show you their diploma. ‘There are diplomas for this too?’ you will ask. Indeed, but with a difference, for the diploma of those who possess the truth is not printed on a piece of paper, but on a person’s very being. It is a living diploma that Initiates and even the spirits of nature can read from afar, for it shines and emits rays of light. When we are in the presence of such a being, we feel an influx of light and warmth, as though we were watching the sun rise.
