By greeting it each morning, you will gradually feel something harmonizing within you

When an Initiate opens his door in the morning, he raises his hand in greeting to the whole of nature, to the sky and the sun. He says good morning to the new day and all creation. By this gesture he establishes communication with the source of life, and nature responds to this greeting. He also greets the angels of the four elements: the angels of air, earth, water and fire, as well as the gnomes, undines, sylphs and salamanders – who then sing and dance for joy! He says ‘Hello! Hello! Good morning!’ to the trees and stones and even to the wind.
Try this for yourselves. You will feel that something within you finds its balance, becomes more harmonious, and much that is obscure and bewildering will fade away simply because you have decided to greet living nature and all the creatures that inhabit it.*
