Matter

Make use of everything, but towards a divine goal

Human beings left the womb of the Eternal to undertake a long descent into matter, so they need everything that matter has placed at their disposal in order to survive. Now that we have become so far separated from the Source, it is impossible to return there easily and directly without any support, without material tools or instruments; so it is only wise and reasonable to make full use of the material means we do have. Only, we should not use these aids to dissipate our energies and distance ourselves even further from the Lord, but rather to return toward unity.
So it is our goal that counts, the direction we take as we make use of everything the material world has provided. Whether we are eating, breathing, walking, working or loving, it is all fine as long as we mobilize everything toward our return to the divine Source.*
