A soul that comes to incarnate on earth has links not only to the world of humans but to the animal, vegetable and mineral kingdoms as well. And it also has links to the angels and archangels. Most people find it difficult to break certain ties and develop others that will link them only to heaven and the most evolved beings, for these ties, of which they are unaware, have numerous ramifications. You can be physically or psychically ill without being the direct cause of it. If you created ties in the past with certain people who were not very evolved and who now have to go through ordeals to free themselves, it may be this that you are experiencing because of those ties.
You could say there are numerous psychic and spiritual families. Even if you claim to be independent and free, you can be a member of several families, and you are connected to them through your thoughts and your desires. When you detach from a weakness, a vice, when you have conquered a temptation, escaped some form of servitude, you experience a new joy. It is like a new birth: you are welcomed into the family of the beings of light.
