‘lord, i love your wisdom, i have faith in your love, i trust in your power’

Interpretation

April 20th 2011
You recite, ‘Lord, I love your wisdom, I have faith in your love, I trust in your power’, but have you really looked into the meaning of this prayer? When you say to the Lord, ‘I love your wisdom’, your love meets God’s wisdom, and you attract it to yourself. When you say, ‘I have faith in your love’, your faith meets divine love, and God loves you because you believe in him. When you say, ‘I trust in your power’, your trust meets God’s power, which protects you because of your trust. So, to attract the wisdom, love and power of God, we must work with these three virtues – love, faith and trust. Within us, these three virtues correspond to the brain, lungs and stomach respectively, and they can improve the state of these organs, since physical health also depends on the spiritual life. For your stomach, increase your trust; for your lungs increase your faith, and for your brain increase your love, as it is through love that we can understand wisdom. Now that you know the meaning of this formula, make a habit of repeating it: ‘Lord, I love your wisdom, I have faith in your love, I trust in your power.’
