Will of god

Not specific to each individual person

April 23rd 2014
There are some believers who wonder naively what God’s will is for them and what he expects of them. They imagine God’s will is concerned with the particular place they ought to live, the profession they ought to be in… Does he want them to start a family or remain single and consecrate themselves to him?... Is he asking them to support this cause or fight that one?... The reality is that God’s will is not specific to each person’s particular questions. God only wants humans to study and understand his laws, which are the laws of life, and then to do their best to put them into practice. Of course, the will of God applies personally to each one of us, but we do not know what God expects of us until we have studied divine will in principle. It is only when we start acting in accordance with divine will as the principle of wisdom and love that we truly know what God is expecting of us.
